DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Mike has called the Green Mountains of Vermont his home and his comfort for his entire life. It’s where he was raised, had his own family, and learned to draw closer to God.
He has a unique ability to fix almost anything, so it was when The Fold needed a maintenance person that he came on staff. He said he was looking for a job that was less stressful than his previous positions in law enforcement and insurance adjusting. It wasn’t long, however, before the Lord took him from fixing engines and houses to fixing hearts.
“The Lord drew me to minister to the staff. Some of them were hurting as badly as our teens and I found out that fixing hearts is one of the hardest things I have ever done.”
One of the things that drew him to The Fold was how they focus on introducing teens to Jesus first and foremost. All other “fixes” in life are merely band aids covering the true problem. Jesus helps people get to the heart of the matter.
Mike and his wife Sue have been married since college. They have three children and four grandchildren. Mike loves the great outdoors and everything that goes with it—hiking, canoeing, flying, and building things.
